Dear all,
The second MINERVA project newsletter has been issued today. It contains a brief update on supercontinuum modelling at DTU, T2SL technology from IRnova and image segmentation work at UPVLC.
The next one is due in Spring 2014.
In the meantime, if you have any questions on the project, please don’t hesitate to get […]
The Mid-Infrared Coherent Sources (MICS) conference run by the OSA will be held later this month (27-Oct to 01-Nov-2013; Paris, France). A post-deadline paper to be presented by Peter Moselund (NKT Photonics) has been accepted entitled, “Highly Stable, All-fiber, High Power ZBLAN Supercontinuum Source Reaching 4.75 μm used for Nanosecond mid-IR Spectroscopy.” This is an exciting […]
The recent Workshop on Speciality Optical Fibres (WSOF 2013; 28-30 Aug-2013; Sigtuna, Sweden) covered a number of topics relevant to MINERVA including progress on mid-IR super-continuum sources and chalcogenide fibre developments. Gary Stevens from G&H presented a poster on handling and splicing soft glass fibres which was well received. Walter Margulis and his […]
